Elemental Surf Lodge - Newquay (Cornwall)

Just back from a 5-night stay at Elemental! Super helpful hosts sorted us with surf gear and fresh towels. Great access to Fistral beach. Only downside?

The hotel with clean and fine rooms, in a quiet area, in the middle of the city.

all in all, it was superb base for travelling to newquay. the personnel was supper friendly and nice. location: the hotel was near also in a quiet area over the night, and laundromat very close as was train station. the location was marvellous, with gilmore's nearby, where we could eat.

The recently renovated setup provides a fresh look, which shows promise for future stays. The location is ideal for surf enthusiasts, with convenient access to nearby beaches.

The double room was poorly maintained-the sink had sharp cracks, the ceiling extractor was filthy, and shower mold was present. Confusing room descriptions led to disappointment. A 'twin economy room' featured a bunk bed instead of separate single beds. Parking spaces were limited, requiring advance bookings. Showers fluctuated between freezing and boiling, and the absence of basic toiletries was noted.

The location is unbeatable, just steps from the beach and a supermarket right next door. Complimentary warm bread with breakfast was a good touch, setting the tone for a great start each day. The room felt a bit cramped for our family, and the shared bathrooms were inconvenient at night. It would be beneficial for the lodge to address some of the maintenance issues, as the noise from the street made it challenging to get a good night's sleep.

It was just a fitting option for a city break in Newquay with good value. The location was great, just steps from the beach, made our day trips easy. Make sure to prebook parking as there are very few spots available.

We loved the location! Just a short walk to the beach and town, with a supermarket right next door. The complimentary breakfast every morning was a nice touch, and the free wetsuit hire is a big bonus! The staff were super friendly, always taking time to chat with us and give awesome recommendations for food. We was like part of a big family there, everyone was so nice!

The warmth and hospitality from Dan and Anthony stood out. The location was perfect, a stone's throw from the beach and the charming town. The continental breakfast was a lovely surprise, setting the tone for each day.

Great stay with awesome staff!

The staff were super friendly and gave us some cool tips for places to eat around town. The picnic area was perfect for chilling after a surf. Just wish the noise from the street wasn't so loud at night.

Enjoyed staying here - the location was absolutely beautiful. the room I had was really clean and cozy. the staff were so friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better! 😊.

The hotel's position was stunning and beautiful. Close enough to the supermarket, laundromat, train station, and beaches. I greatly enjoyed the room, the bed was comfortable.

The room was spacious and had smoke detectors for safety, with helpful and caring staff, and a stunning city-center location.
